The coding process is interactive, responsibilities are shared between IDDI data managers, and IDDI medical coder and the Sponsor, who can validate on-line the coding terms. This real-time process results in substantial cost and time saving.
A Sponsor's specific thesaurus can be created, which may include all terms approved in the scope of a study, or extend to a specific therapeutic area or even to all Sponsor's studies.
