Interim analyses, IDMCs

IDDI provides the full range of services for interim analyses and IDMCs

Interim analyses are carried out and shared with an independent body of experts (Data Safety Monitoring Board, DSMB, or Independent Data Monitoring Committee, IDMC), that guarantee that continuation of the trial remains ethically and scientifically justified.

IDDI uses several statistical techniques for interim analyses, including sequential designs, group sequential designs, adaptive designs, conditional power and futility calculations, and sample size adjustments.

Some members of the staff are dedicated solely to IDMC support. They are true experts, delivering only what the committee members need in a succinct, complete and reproducible fashion.

IDDI use its secure portal TrialControl to share reports with the IDMC members ensuring immediate access once they are posted
