Coding of medical terms (AEs, SAEs, and medical history) and medications
IDDI provides an innovative and efficient way of coding medical terms using MedDRA other dictionaries, and medications using WHO-DD with its ID-code software.
The coding process is interactive, responsibilities are shared between IDDI data managers, and medical coder and the sponsor, who can validate on-line the coding terms. This real-time process results in substantial cost and time saving.
A sponsor's specific thesaurus can be created, which may include all terms approved in the scope of a study, or extend to a specific therapeutic area or even to all sponsor's studies.
