IDDI (International Drug Development Institute) is an eClinical and biostatistics service provider offering trial design, centralized randomization (IWRS), data management, statistical analyses including DMC support, and clinical study report writing in the field of clinical research. IDDI is headquartered in Belgium with offices in the US.

For our Belgian office we are looking for a :

Software Developer  for a project aimed at developing a data analysis/mining software.

You will be involved in the development of the software in a SaaS model using the latest technologies in software development (JE2, Struts, Sping, Hibernate, JSF, AJAX, Birt...). 

Your Role:

  • Coding in Java
  • Development of web-based front-end
  • Development of automated testing (JUNIT Testing framework)
  • Documentation & system maintenance
  • Validation

Your Profile:

  • Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
  • Experience in the development of Java Enterprise applications is a must (preferably Struts, Sping and/or J2E)
  • Knowledge of Hibernate, JSP, JSF, AJAX, FLEX, JASPER and/or BIRT is an asset
  • Prior experience with Agile methodology (Scrum, XP) is also an asset
  • Excellent analytical and decision making skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Biostatistician - Research (UCL position)

The candidate will take part in a large research project entitled "Statistical Monitoring Applied to Research Trials" undergone in collaboration with IDDI, GSK Biologicals, and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). This project has been approved by Belgian Walloon government within the framework of the 7th call for BioWin projects.

The objective of this project is to develop and validate a system for monitoring and statistical control of automated data quality of clinical trials primarily based on multiple and varied statistical analyses of which the results can be exploited by data mining tools and artificial intelligence.

For our Houston office we are looking to fill in the following position:

Project Manager

The Project Manager is the key client contact for large projects where IDDI is performing multiple services (randomization, data management and statistics). You will lead the project to ensure that it is completed on time, within budget, and with appropriate quality. Your key contacts will be with the client, and with the operational team based in Belgium.

Your Profile:

  • Thorough knowledge of Clinical Trials
  • Experience in managing large projects across different teams including client facing activity
  • At least 5 years experience in Randomization, Data Management or Statistics
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including experience in making presentations
  • Detail oriented, and ability to work under pressure
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to work in partnership within and across geographic locations, and functional areas
  • University degree, preferably in science
  • Experience with eClinical solutions is beneficial for the position
